The Centre for Communication Allied Media Studies (C-CAMS), affiliated with State Resources centre and National Skill Development Centre, aims to become a national Centre in the exploration and dissemination of knowledge about human communication, mass media, and digital production. C-CAMS will strive to fulfill the following objectives:
The administrative leadership of the Centre for Communication Allied Media Studies (C-CAMS) will be headed by a Director and Assistant Director. The centre will consist of three curricular units: Communication Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Public Relations, each led by a Coordinator. The Director of Graduate Studies, Undergraduate Coordinator and Basic Course Director, and Director of Research and Outreach will also be part of the leadership team.
C-CAMS provides state-of-the-art facilities to support the education and training of its students. One of the key features is the availability of highly sophisticated iMac platforms equipped with industry-standard editing software. These cutting-edge systems allow students to work on various aspects of digital media production, such as video editing, graphic design, and multimedia development.
